ScanHealth is a health education and literacy platform that helps users understand their blood test reports by converting medical terminology into plain-language explanations.

ScanHealth is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare provider. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment recommendations. All content generated by the Service is for informational and educational purposes only.
1.3 No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of ScanHealth does not create a doctor-patient relationship, therapist-patient relationship, or any other clinical relationship between you and ScanHealth. The Service does not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals.
1.4 Consult Your Doctor
You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by ScanHealth. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
2. User Accounts

- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the Service's security or infrastructure
- Misrepresent the Service's output as medical advice to others
3.3 Accuracy of Input
The quality of educational content generated depends on the accuracy of the data you provide. We are not responsible for results generated from incorrect, incomplete, or altered report data.
4. Content and Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, text, graphics, logos, and software comprising the Service are owned by ScanHealth and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
4.2 User Content
By uploading reports or data to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. You retain ownership of your uploaded data.
4.3 Educational Content
The educational explanations, health scores, and other outputs generated by the Service are provided for your personal use. You may share them with your healthcare provider but may not commercially redistribute them.
5. Payments and Subscriptions

Biomarker reference ranges, explanations, and health information may vary based on factors including but not limited to age, sex, ethnicity, health conditions, and laboratory methods.
6.3 AI-Generated Content
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate educational content. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or oversimplifications. It should be reviewed critically and verified with qualified healthcare professionals.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScanHealth and its team, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Any damages arising from medical decisions made based on information from the Service
- Any damages arising from unauthorized access to your data
- Any damages exceeding the total amount you paid to ScanHealth in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
You expressly acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and that the Service is not a substitute for professional medical care.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScanHealth and its team, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
